At JOOR, our goal has always been to digitize the entire wholesale process—improving the buying and selling experience for brands and retailers around the world. From first contact through to final payment, JOOR strives to make every transaction smooth and seamless, connecting brands with buyers and enabling them to optimize their business together.
We continue to drive digital transformation and invest in providing industry leading innovation in service of our clients. In 2022, JOOR received several international awards recognizing our commitment to fueling the advancement and growth of both brands and retailers. We are so pleased and proud to have our efforts honored in this way.
As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to share some of the recognition received. From the beginning, our success has depended on the success of our partners, and we look forward to continuing to deliver innovative solutions in the coming year.
In May, Retail Touchpoints celebrated JOOR in the Marketplace Strategies and Technologies category, for our evolution from a wholesale platform into a complete marketplace experience that allows the fashion season to expand across the calendar and the globe. With JOOR Pay to expedite payment across currencies and time zones, and JOOR Passport facilitating international fashion events, Retail TouchPoints awarded both JOOR’s dedication to giving retailers the ability to manage every step of the wholesale process online right from our powerful platform, and our unique value in the digital, physical, and hybrid space as events resume in a world changed by the global pandemic.
For decades, Forbes has been compiling lists of the best of the best, celebrating milestones and successes in a wide variety of categories. In October, JOOR’s CEO Kristin Savilia made Forbes’ list of 50 Over 50: Entrepreneurs, celebrating the entrepreneurial approach and impact of the most original and positively disruptive business leaders in the US.
Kristin was recognized for her extraordinary achievement of having steered JOOR into its current position as the world’s leading digital wholesale management platform. Today JOOR connects more than 13,900 brands and 400,000 retailers in 150+ countries around the world, facilitating nearly $20 billion in wholesale transactions annually. Kristin, who started as a buyer at Macy’s before moving to Linens N Things and then the XO Group, was acknowledged for her vision and lauded for driving incredible growth even through the constraints imposed by the global pandemic.
JOOR is proud to have received the “Tech Innovator of the Year” award at the 2022 Drapers Awards. In their 30th year, the Drapers Awards celebrates the best of the fashion and retail industry. The gala evening highlighted the impressive individual and sector accomplishments of the fashion retail space, and we are honored by this recognition as our innovative B2B platform continues to digitally transform the wholesale buying and selling process. The awards are presented by Drapers Magazine—one of Europe’s leading fashion industry publications.
In addition, JOOR was recently nominated in the “Best E-Commerce Technology” category of the Digiday Technology Awards, which honor the most original and impactful technological achievements in e-commerce, sustainability, and influencer marketing. JOOR is deeply pleased to be acknowledged in the company of our peers.
JOOR is truly proud to have received such widespread recognition for our achievements this year. Sincere thanks are due to our dedicated team members: their hard work made these awards a reality. We also want to thank our clients for inspiring and accompanying us on this journey of ongoing innovation. JOOR is dedicated to the transformation of the wholesale industry, and we look forward to our continued evolution and growth in 2023 and beyond.
